In in honor of the Feast of St Francis of Assisi, we are having our annual Blessing of the Animals. Meet outdoors in the south end portion of the parking lot with your finned, furred, or feathered friends for this traditional celebration. For Safety of all people and animals, be sure to leash, crate, or contain all pets.
Protecting God’s Children - Making Our Environment Safe
All diocesan employees & volunteers, having significant or sustained contact with minors should sign up to attend one workshop between August and September. The following dates and times are the Protecting God’s Children Workshops in English: Monday, Sept. 28, 9:30 am - 12:30 pm Stewardship/Unity Rooms; Tuesday, October 6 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm Stewardship/Unity Rooms; Monday, October 19 9:30 am - 12:30 pm Stewardship/Unity Rooms. Join us for "God’s Creation Cries for Justice"
Do you feel called to address the issues raised by Climate Change and to respond to Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato Si’? Join the Justice and Peace Ministry as they host the JustFaith Module God’s Creation Cries for Justice. This eight-session faith formation program focuses on Climate Change, poverty, and Catholic Social Teaching and prepares us to take action to care for God’s creation. We will be meeting every Tuesday evening at 6:45 pm - 9 pm beginning on September 29th, 2015 - November 17th, 2015, in the parish library.
