Be here Friday October 16th for games, food, and fun! Join us for only $2 per person or $10 per family from 6:00pm-8:30pm in the school gym. Come enjoy the spectacular entertainment! Come hear the results of our annual raffle! Don’t forget to join the raffle for only $5 per ticket or $20 for a book of 5 you can be entered in to win the exciting prizes! St. Maria Goretti Comes to SMI!

While St. Maria is universally known as the Patroness of Purity, her greatest virtue was her unyielding forgiveness of her attacker even in the midst of horrendous physical suffering, a forgiveness that would completely convert him and set him on a path to personal holiness. Altar Server Training - Tuesday, Oct. 13

There will be an Altar Server training session for NEW servers on Tuesday, Oct. 13th beginning at 6pm. This training session is open to current 6th, 7th, and 8th graders in both the St. Mary Immaculate Parish School and Religious Education program. There is no RSVP necessary, however a parent should come into the Church to fill out an information and permission form. The training session should be complete by 8pm. Please contact Fr. Stephen Eickhoff if you have any questions. 

Men’s Catechism Circle on Monday, October 18

Come join the Men’s Catechism Circle, now meeting in the St. Mary Immaculate Parish Library. We study the “Catechism of the Catholic Church” and receive a practical teaching on living out our faith. We meet the 3rd Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m. Our next meeting is Monday, September 20. For more information, contact Dutch McCann at 815-436-8072. 

Join us for "God’s Creation Cries for Justice"

Do you feel called to address the issues raised by Climate Change and to respond to Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato Si’? Join the Justice and Peace Ministry as they host the JustFaith Module God’s Creation Cries for Justice. This eight-session faith formation program focuses on Climate Change, poverty, and Catholic Social Teaching and prepares us to take action to care for God’s creation. We will be meeting every Tuesday evening at 6:45 pm - 9 pm beginning on September 29th, 2015 - November 17th, 2015, in the parish library.
