SMI Parish School

Register for the Fall Today!

We are still enrolling for the 2015-2016 school year. We offer a quality faith-centered education for children from Pre-School (age 3 by September 1, 2015) to Grade Eight and have openings in K thru 5 and 7th grade.  In order to register for our school or to be placed on the waiting list (PS/PK and 6th grade), we require that families be registered parishioners at St. Mary Immaculate. We also ask that you bring your child’s birth certificate and a Catholic baptismal certificate along with a $125 registration fee per family with you when you register. The first tuition payment for the fall is also due at this time. For more info, please visit our website at smischool.org or contact the school office at 815-436-3953.

Rest in Peace
Fr. Gerold Schubert

It is with great sadness that we announce that Fr. Gerold Schubert, O.F.M. has passed away late Friday evening. Fr. Gerold's health deteriorated while receiving in home care for a number of issues including liver cancer at his residence at St. Marys. He passed away Friday while in hospice.

Our Mass of Thanksgiving for Fr. Gerold will take place at the 4:00 pm Mass Saturday, August 1st. The time of his wake and funeral will be announced this week.

We thank God for this great and holy man and the time he was able to spend in residence with the people of St. Mary Immaculate Parish.

Mark your Calendars - St. Mary Immaculate is Hosting a Carnival!

St. Mary Immaculate’s first-ever Carnival will be held August 26-29, 2015, right here on our parish grounds. We have contracted with All Around Amusement, Inc., a local company from Lockport, to provide a four-day Carnival for our parishioners and the local community. Details will follow in the weeks prior to the Carnival. In the meantime, please mark your calendars and plan to join us for what promises to be a fun-filled end-of-summer event here at our parish!

New Polish Mass Time

Until further notice, with the help of visiting priests, our Polish Mass will now be held at 9:00 a.m. in Cana Hall. This change comes as a result of us losing our beloved Fr. Stan. We would like to wish Fr. Stan good luck and many blessings at his new assignment!
