Catholic Ministries
Annual Appeal 2015

Thank you to all the 891 families who have made a pledge to the Catholic Ministries Annual Appeal. Acknowledgement letters from the Diocese should arrive within the next week or two. Thank you also to those of you continuing to make your monthly pledge payments. If you have not yet made a pledge, please prayerfully consider how you might support the good works of our Bishop and our Diocese and send in your pledge this week. Pledge envelopes are available in the Commons and can be returned directly to the parish. Once our parish exceeds our goal in paid pledges, we will earn back 65% of donations over the goal. Let’s continue our great record of support for Bishop Conlon and the diocese!

Volunteer for Misericordia CandyDays

Fri, April 24 & Sat, April 25

Join thousands of supporters of Misericordia Home by volunteering for Misericordia's Candy Days on Friday, April 24 and Saturday, April 25, 2015. Volunteers are needed to work the streets, sidewalks and store fronts in the Plainfield/Joliet area. Volunteers wear signature aprons and simply pass out candy and informational tags in exchange for donations on behalf of Misericordia. 100% of proceeds raised will positively affect the residents who are persons of all religious, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds. Home to 600 children and adults with developmental and physical disabilities, Misericordia offers quality lives to this very deserving population. Any minimum 2 hour shift would be greatly appreciated. To volunteer or for more info, please call parishioner, Holly Moore, at 815-436-7961.
