St. Mary Immaculate Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a week-long program, presented each summer, for children entering PreK through 5th grades. Led by adult and youth volunteers, participants have an opportunity to learn about God’s love in a fun and exciting way. Activities include bible stories, songs, crafts, games and snacks. Mrs. Shimek Retiring After 31 Years at SMI Parish School

Debbie Shimek, second grade teacher at St. Mary Immaculate Parish School, is retiring after 41 years of teaching with her last 31 years at SMI.  We will honor her with a parish celebration of cake after the 7:30 a.m., 9:00 a.m., and 10:45 a.m. Sunday Liturgies on May 31,2015.  Please come and celebrate an outstanding Teacher! SMI Alumni Link: tinyurl.com/debbieshimek

 

 

Farewell Cake Reception for Father Stan - After Masses June 13 & 14

Father Stan Tabor will be leaving St. Mary Immaculate at the end of June and venturing to a new parish in Lafayette, IN.  In celebration of his service to our parish and to wish him well in his upcoming endeavors, we are having a cake reception in the Gym after both masses on Saturday evening, June 13 and after all day time masses on Sunday, June 14.  Please join us as we say farewell to Father Stan.
 

Mark your Calendar - St. Mary Immaculate is Hosting a Carnival!

St. Mary Immaculate’s first-ever Carnival will be held August 26-29, 2015, right here on our parish grounds. We have contracted with All Around Amusement, Inc., a local company from Lockport, to provide a four-day Carnival for our parishioners and the local community. Details will follow in the weeks prior to the Carnival. In the meantime, please mark your calendars and plan to join us for what promises to be a fun-filled end-of-summer event here at our parish!
